Now that almost everything has been finalized: flight trims, lights, etc etc... it is time for the last bit of details: the air scoop!
Well, I have bad hands with the plastic air scoops for the wings. Like I said I am not the dremel guy, I use a pair of scissors to do the job - that cracked up the plastic has shown in the photo below. The plastic mold is brittle, I blame the thinner based solvent used for the factory's paint over it.
Now that I have to think of making the air scoops or at least the conceal the"blank spaces" on the wing, I came up with a lazy idea of using balsa woods with black coverings.
On the other hand I have to change the lens for the landing lights. Not that the previous ones are poor, I just find them a little flimsy, like papers. you know... So I got some clear plastics cut to shapes and mount them on the lights as a replacement.
